Mary Chan Yoga

Since I received my teacher’s certifications from Jivamukti and Sivananda, yoga and movement have been an integrated part of my daily life for the last 30 years.

From vinyasa to pre-natal to teaching teenagers and seniors, I am grateful to have drawn my inspiration from numerous beloved teachers and students.

My latest adventure was the completion of the Three’s Physiyoga advanced teacher training, which gives me a brand new tool set to integrate principles of physical therapy, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques into my teaching and practice.

A stretching workshop that highlights the knowledge foundation behind the technique and empowers you to take charge of your own body.

Explore in a playful, small group setting with individual attention and Q&A time.

In this 2-part workshop series, you will learn:

  • how to use a foam roller and massage balls to release soft tissue restrictions prior to stretching to increase its pliability and effectiveness.

  • how to target, identify and stretch the major muscle groups in the body to bring optimal mobility that enhances everything you do from daily functional activities to athletic performance.

This is my first collaborative project with my PT husband Stuart Yeh (co-owner of PTANY).

If you have questions or concerns regarding personal injuries and limitations, email me at mary@marychanwellness.com prior to signing up.
